The wonderful Kingdoms of Amalur gets a remaster with Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning
Recently a new entry appeared in the Microsoft Store with the name Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning was released in 2012 and was a beautiful single-player role-playing game. In a very special world, the player had to cope with an extensive story, appealing fights, and a large number of puzzles and dungeons.
With a story by R.A. Salvatore (well known author, especially for his books on Dungeons&Dragons and Star Wars) the story also had real depth. Unfortunately, shortly after the release, the leading team Big Huge Games and Studio 38 was closed due to financial problems. The game had a good Metacritic rating of 81%.
